"Maui Nui : We are a Community, not a commodity."

Lucienne de Naie sees good reason to be optimistic about Maui's future.

"People on Maui are hungry for new possibilities. If we expand the process of citizen participation so that we have a broad palate of ideas to work with, we can create a healthy and sensible way of living that works for Maui."

Lucienne de Naie has been a tireless volunteer for Maui County. Her in-depth research on County issues takes her digging through the dusty archives of the Bailey House to tromping the wilds of Makena.

Lucienne de Naie does her homework. She researches each issue and then works with the County Council and Committees so that decisions are made with complete information.

A diverse hui of people have asked Lucienne to take the next step and continue her work as a decision-making member of the County Council. With your support, we can make this happen.
