Candidate de Naie Hosts Westside Tea and Talk

 

            Westside residents and workers are invited to join Lucienne de Naie, candidate for the County Council seat serving East Maui, for iced tea, snacks and an informal question and answer session Tuesday, August 29. The talk story session will be at Wahikuli Park from 3-4 p.m. following by a roadside clean up and sign waving on Honoapiilani Highway from 4-5 p.m.

            “Everyone on Maui is concerned about things like traffic, high property taxes, the ice epidemic and responsible management of water, natural and cultural resources, said de Naie.  “However, each community has its own needs so it’s important for me to hear from people living in every corner of the island.”

                    County Council candidates must live in the district they wish to represent but voters throughout Maui are eligible to vote for candidates from all districts.
